Analytics – This Application does not collect or share your personal data.

Ads – No advertisements are served from third party ad networks in this Application.

Social – This Application provides a means by which you can post a status update to your Facebook wall if you so choose.

Location – This Application asks if it can use your Current Location so it can calculate which sites are closest to your location. It uses geolocation services to find restaurants, hotels, and other conveniences near sites.

Web – This Application uses third party services on the internet to improve Nearby Place reporting (Google) and to provide more information about birds found at sites (Wikipedia).


The Application is designed to describe birdwatching sites along driving loops or in regions typically published and marketed as “Birding Trails”.

This Application accesses two servers (“the Sites”) operated by Aves Amigos, LLC, namely  and, for the purpose of determining promotional periods in effect or syncing with an online trails database. Neither this Application nor our servers collect any personally identifiable information about you.

How we use cookies

For example, this Application uses the Google API(s) and the geolocation data read from your device in order to provide a location-aware experience. This Application includes a Share tab to allow you to share your experiences on Facebook or via electronic mail. The first time Facebook is accessed via this Application, you are asked for the appropriate permissions. For operation and maintenance purposes, this Application and any third party services may collect files that record interaction with this Application (System Logs) and may include an IP Address your device is using.
